Description
Wohl als Stichvorlage für eines der zahlreichen Heiligenbilder Eichlers entstanden. Die Literatur verzeichnet Sankt Damas, einen heute eher unbekannten Heiligen, der zu Beginn des 4. Jahrhunderts in Cäsarea den Märtyrertod starb.
