Description
Félix del Marle, in seinen frühen künstlerischen Jahren durch Gino Severini beeinflusst, hatte sich als einziger Franzose der futuristischen Bewegung angeschlossen, aber diese Periode blieb relativ kurz. Schon in den frühen 20er Jahren fand er zur Abstraktion und näherte sich in seinem Stil schließlich Mondrian und Van Doesburg. An der rechten oberen Ecke der Darstellung minimal berieben, sonst in sehr gutem Zustand.
Provenienz: Sammlung Béothy, Paris (als Geschenk von Madame del Marle an das Ehepaar Béothy, verso hs. bezeichnet und mit dem Adressstempel der Béothys); Galerie von Bartha, Basel (1987).
