Description
Schöne Landschaftsansicht, deren Atmosphäre sich durch leichte Nuancen in der Farbgebung aufbaut. Dies ist charakteristisch für Stadlers Spätwerk, der in dieser Phase zur Gestaltung von farblich reduzierten Flächen neigte. Dadurch scheint der schmale Landstrich am Horizont mit dem Himmel zu verschmelzen, während der Landschaftsebene im Vordergrund sehr viel Platz eingeräumt wird. Der Ausschnitt erscheint zufällig, doch gerade durch den Verzicht auf narrative Elemente wird die Natur in ihrer Monumentalität zum eigentlichen Bildthema.
Einwandfrei erhalten. Nicht ausgerahmt.
