Description
Wichtige großformatige Arbeit in interessanter Kombination von farbiger Lithographie und Serigraphie, die in charakteristischer Weise mit dem geschriebenen Wort arbeitet. Während “DEAD” im Mittelteil in gestischer Expressivität gestaltet ist und damit die existenziellen Ängste, die mit dem Begriff verbunden sind, heraufbeschwört, wirken die glatten Flächen unten und oben wie die bewusste Negation dieser Gefühle. Der an Neonschrift erinnernde Schriftzug
“Oiled” verstärkt diesen Kontrast. – Umlaufend an den Blattkanten leicht gebräunt, sonst sehr gut erhalten. Nicht ausgerahmt.
