Description
Ausgehend von der Mitbegründung der Frankfurter ‘Quadriga’, einer Künstlergruppe, die einen von Wols und dem Automatismus beeinflussten Tachismus vertrat, vollzog sich seit 1952 eine entscheidende Wendung in Karl Otto Götz’ künstlerischer Entwicklung. Diese führte schließlich zu seinem spezifischen großzügig gestischen Pinselduktus. Arbeitsbedingt etwas fleckig, im Randbereich etwas knittrig. Schwache Craquelébildung und kaum merklich berieben.
