Description

Schöne, impressionistische Ansicht der Pariser Brücke in der Dämmerung, mit dem Pavillon de Flore des Louvres im Hintergrund. Bieler studierte ab 1881 in Paris an der Ecole des Beaux-Arts und stellte 1887 zum ersten Mal im Salon de Paris aus. Stark von der dekorativen Kunst angezogen, entwickelte er seinen Stil von Realismus über impressionistische Werke bis hin zum Art Nouveau. Etwas berieben und besonders verso leicht gebräunt. Verso an den Rändern mit Spuren alter Montage, sonst von sehr guter Erhaltung.
