Description
Reizvolle Arbeit in lockerem Duktus. Dillis ist heutzutage vor allem für seine Darstellungen des bäuerlichen Lebens und seine Reiseskizzen berühmt. Mit dem bayerischen Kronprinzen Ludwig I. unternahm der Künstler mehrere Reisen nach Italien, insbesondere Rom und Sizilien. Auf diesen Reisen fertigte er zahlreiche Aquarellskizzen an, die als Studien für spätere Veduten in Öl gedacht waren. Vereinzelt mit winzigen Stockfleckchen, ansonsten in gutem Zustand.
