Tadelloser Druck mit kleinem Rändchen. Das Original Dürers entstand 1504 nach einer Venedigreise. Adam und Eva sind im Sinne der Renaissance als klassische, nach dem Kanon des Vitruv proportionierte Aktfiguren dargestellt. Das Blatt gehörte schon früh zu den gesuchtesten Sammlerstücken – davon zeugen auch zehn bekannte graphische Kopien, wie unser Blatt von Johann Wierix. Äußerste Ecken abgeschrägt, leicht faltig.
