Description
Am rechten unteren Rand bezeichnet “better without the black lines?”. Nach seiner Tätigkeit am Bauhaus emigrierte Moholy-Nagy 1937 in die Vereinigten Staaten. In dem Zeitraum 1941-46 entstanden zahlreiche, zum Teil theoretische Skizzen und Entwürfe, in denen er visuelle Wahrnehmung und perspektivische Verhältnisse, die Wirkung der Farben und den Verlauf der Linien untersuchte. Im alten Passepartoutausschnitt etwas gegilbt und mit Lichtrand.
