Indian ink over pencil on light paper, mounted on cardboard. (19)20. C. 33.5 : 29.5 cm (sheet). Signed and dated in the middle of the right margin. On the reverse of the cardboard inscribed. Framed.
Description
Vertikale und diagonale Elemente, teils mit Schraffierungen, erzeugen einen fast bühnenbildartigen räumlichen Effekt. Aus runden Öffnungen schauen Fische heraus, wachsen Pflanzen hervor. Motive aus der Natur – Fische, Insekten, Pflanzen – verbinden sich mit Röhren-Motiven aus der mechanischen Welt, die aus einem imaginären Raum herabragen. Kugelmotive schweben seifenblasengleich in der Bildmitte. Fest auf den Unterlagekarton montiert. Kaum merklich gebräunt. Nadellöcher an den Ecken.
