Description
Um die Mitte der achtziger Jahre zeichnet sich eine Wandlung im Zeichenstil Liebermanns ab. Unter dem Einfluss holländischer Künstler wie Anton Mauve und Jozef Israels wird sein Strich weicher und offener, statt des Bleistifts bevorzugt er — wie im vorliegenden Blatt– Kreide. Durch das verwendete graue Papier vermeidet er starke Kontraste und erzielt eine eher tonige Wirkung. – Mit Bräunungssteifen an den Rändern durch altes Passepartout. Vereinzelte kleine, fachmännisch restaurierte Risse an den Blattkanten.
