Description

Mit warmen, ruhigen Tönen angelegtes Aquarell, das atmosphärisch die Stimmung nach einem Unwetter wiedergibt. Dem Betrachter breitet sich aus der Sicht von oben eine idyllische, in ein warmes Licht getauchte Voralpenlandschaft aus. Den Reiz der Darstellung erhöhen die liebevoll mit Deckfarben gesetzten Akzente.
Otto Lange, Mitbegründer der “Sezession 1919”, wurde an der Dresdner Kunstakademie von Otto Gußmann unterrichtet, der auch Lehrer von Max Pechstein war. Erst in letzter Zeit wird sein Werk, das den Brücke-Künstlern nahe steht von Neuem wiederentdeckt.
Verso in Aquarelltechnik eine Bachlandschaft, ebenfalls signiert.
