Die Katze ist Hannah Höchs Lieblings-Tiermotiv, das sie ein Leben lang begleitet. In einer unendlichen Zahl von Zeichnungen, Gouachen, Gemälden und vor allem auch Collagen, schildert sie den Charakter dieses meist sehr anmutigen und oft niedlichen, dabei sehr eigenwilligen und immer sehr stolzen und selbstbestimmten Tieres. Stockfleckig und leicht gebräunt. Auf Karton aufgelegt.
