Seller’s commission
Our standard commission rates charged per sold item are currently set as follows:
30% for objects sold for up to and including 500 Euros
20% for objects sold for up to and including 2,000 Euros
15% for objects sold for over 2,000 and up to 49,000 Euros
12% for objects sold for 50,000 and up to 75,000 Euros.
10% for objects sold for over and beyond 75,000 Euros.

Insurance
All objects on our premises are insured through Karl & Faber to the amount of their (low) estimate. As a small contribution to our costs for this service we charge 0.5% of the lower estimate (plus VAT) for insurance.

Droit de suite
Droit de suite is a resale royalty levied on the sale of works of art created after 1900. Currently, sellers are charged 1% of the hammer price as a participation to the droit de suite charge.

Illustration charges
We believe high quality colour illustrations significantly help in selling a lot at auction. We therefore publish virtually all lots in the catalogue in colour - with the exception of Old Master prints illustrated in black and white. The costs incurred are as following:

Black-and-white illustrations (Old Master and 19th century prints only): ¼ page: 35 €, ½ - 1 page: 60 €

Colour illustrations:
Catalogue Modern and Contemporary Art with an estimate up to 2.500 €: 1/6 page: 40 €
All other catalogues: ¼ page: 50 €, ½ page: 100 €, 1 page: 200 €;
Double page colour illustration: 500 €

Online illustrations: 15 €
